Tom is the President’s Distinguished Professor of Information Technology and Management at Babson College, the co-founder of the International Institute for Analytics, a Fellow of the MIT Initiative for the Digital Economy, and a Senior Advisor to Deloitte Analytics. Tom has been at the forefront of the Process Innovation, Knowledge Management, and Analytics and Big Data movements.
Tom pioneered the concept of “competing on analytics” with his 2006 Harvard Business Review article and his 2007 book. Since then, he has continued to provide cutting-edge insights on how companies can use AI to their advantage.
Matt Aslett is a Research Director with responsibility for the Data, AI & Analytics Channel at 451 Research, a part of S&P Global Market Intelligence. This Channel includes operational and analytic databases, Hadoop, grid/cache, stream processing, data integration, data governance and data management, as well as data science and analytics, machine learning and AI.
Matt's own primary area of focus currently includes data abstraction, virtualization and analytics acceleration, data culture and data literacy, data streaming, and streaming data integration, as well as hybrid cloud data processing.
Irina’s team builds ML apps for internal decision making, such as Einstein Guidance (revenue forecasting tool) and Net Adoption Score (tool to measure, compare, and act on enterprise adoption across Salesforce's 40+ product lines). Prior to joining Salesforce, Irina led customer success at a data governance startup Alation, built product analytics at an SRI-backed startup Tempo AI, and led digital transformations at Telekom Malaysia and McKinsey.
She holds a BSc in Computer Science and an MA in Economic Policy from top schools in Russia, as well as an MBA from Stanford GSB.
Nick Elprin is the CEO and co-founder of Domino Data Lab, provider of the open data science platform that powers model-driven enterprises such as Allstate, Bristol Myers Squibb, Dell and Lockheed Martin.
Before starting Domino, Nick built tools for quantitative researchers at Bridgewater, one of the world’s largest hedge funds. He has over a decade of experience working with data scientists at advanced enterprises. He holds a BA and MS in computer science from Harvard.
John is an international technology executive with over 30 years of experience in the business intelligence and advanced analytics fields.
Currently, John is responsible for the global Advanced Analytics & Artificial Intelligence team and efforts at CSL. Prior to CSL, John was an Executive Partner at Gartner, where he was management consultant to market leading companies in the areas of digital transformation, data monetization and advanced analytics.
John is author of the new book - Building Analytics Teams: Leveraging analytics and AI for business improvement, and co-author of the best selling book - Analytics: How to win with Intelligence.
